Home Depot says it plans to temporarily cut prices on up to 1,200 items during a three-week rollout to bring customers back to its stores.

The discounts, which are between 5 percent and 50 percent, will last through at least through the next quarter.

* Home Depot brand lawn and refuse bags. Was $2.10; now $1.56.
* R30 unfaced insulation roll. Was $23.50; now $15.31
* Rite Temp seven day programmable thermostat. Was $42.94; now $39.93.
* Stratford brushed nickel ceiling fan. Was $89.97; now $69.00.
* Behr Premium Plus flat enamel paint. Was $22.98; now $19.47
