A resolution to rename part of Bobby Jones Expressway is headed to the Senate today. Deputy J.D. Paugh's former motor deputies were all in Atlanta Monday awaiting the vote to rename part of Bobby Jones Expressway after the fallen officer.

NBC 26 News' Courtney Khondabi spoke with some of the deputy's co-workers in Augusta about what it would mean to them to have a permanent reminder of Paugh's sacrifice, so that everyone can remember him.

A Greenbrier High School student is now formally charged with plotting to kidnap and kill one of his classmates.

NBC 26 News has learned a Columbia County grand jury indicted Christian Annis last week. We're told the 17-year-old's girlfriend asked him to kill another female student. He's charged with conspiracy to commit a felony. Annis' girlfriend was sent to a youth detention center in Sandersville.
